Save the bridge

MARCH 24, 2008: I'm guessing others who thought it was a tragedy and whinge whinge and so on have noticed the Leighton Beach development basically has none of the negative effects it was supposed to have, like on public access to the beach.

I'm more worried about them phasing out that awesome bridge over the train line. Can't see rich people tolerating something so non-picturesque for long.







Stands to reason tho, because Perth people are spoilt for scenery. And yes yes i know you've all seen it all before so many times but i don't think we Perthites (can?) really appreciate how good the Swan River is, at least until we've been away from it for ages. It's gotta be one of the most idyllic settings for a city imaginable.
